... at 8am the next day. This morning I started diving properly. We went straight in the pool and did lots of skills including getting water out our masks, emergency ascending, etc. This afternoon we just watched some more videos and do some theory. Tomorrow we have our exam in the morning and two open water dives in the afternoon - so excited to go in the sea as we are going down to 18 metres! Just finished my homework again and now off to get ready for ...

... chose my hamburger socks because they represent my style. Well it became a thing and they became part of the dives, which was cool because they helped me learn about color changes underwater. So that was a plus. Before I started the advanced course, one of the other divers Michael let me borrow the motorbike he had rented until his time was up because he had to catch a ferry. I drove to a few beaches that I was told were definite spots to see like Freedom Beach and Aow ...

... three dives each to do whilst we are here (can not wait )and we plan on also snorkelling by hiring one of the long boats and finding some snorkelling pals to split the cost with. We met one potential last night a German PhD student called Chris he had just arrived on the island and we had dinner and a drink with and he seemed up for it so we just need a few more. Next time: Under the oceans of Koh Tao ...
