We head to Fiskardo which is the most northerly point on Kefalonia. Once again great scenery, particularly on the coast road between Argosteli and Myrtos Beach. Fiskardo is an interesting little town but again the same sort of design and colour houses as everywhere else on the island.

... in summer. Passed worst of crowds to a quieter bay at the end. Heavy rain and strong winds in arvo but settled down after dusk. Dropped anchor about 50m offshore and rowed in to yacht club. ... storms. Sunny and around 26deg on this coast. Nice tourist town with lots yachts. A bit like Licata but more sophisticated. Lunch on boat with friends Mark and Janet Le Grande a barrister from Bris and Earl and Di from another yacht but also from Bris. ... the hatches were reopened and the boat ventilated the smell subsided. Or perhaps we got used to it. At about 1am Steph was rudely awoken by a stinky smell, her first thought being, Tony, for God's sake! However, intermittently woken for the next hour or so, with the smell getting increasingly worse, Steph stuck her head out of the cabin hatch to see if the smell was outside. Apparently not.
