We were due there in a few days anyway to see the billed "Lefkas world famous annual international folklore festival" and happily Pipit was coming in too. Calls to owner John, who suggested local engineers and soon there was much shaking of heads over the windlass on the foredeck. A gear shaft had failed, no spares in Lefkas, none in Greece in fact and the UK was about to shut for a long weekend. Ah ha! John and Maggie were due to fly ...

... diving, and cave exploring. While Lida, Justin, Ty and I were swimming, Kyle was in the dinghy videoing the diving, and our swimmings. The temperature of the water was wonderful, and we were one of the very few people swimming, and diving in the area. After swimming, we returned to Milena, who quickly hoisted anchor and we were on our way to isle of Arkoudhi. On our cruise to Arkoudhi, we had a school of dolphins, which we saw three jumping along side the boat, ...

... dessert. IRIDA, the owner is a lovely older Greek woman, well spoken in English, and made all her guests feel most welcome in her "home". How wonderful and charming this area of Kefalonia is! One of my most favorite places in the Ionian islands. We returned to Milena, readied ourselves for bed. It was Ty's turn to my topside bunkmate... Stargazing was highlighted by our sighting of a satellite. Goodnight sweet world, and thank you for yet another beautiful ...
