I've been reading blogs & have decided to not bring the tent. It is so cheap to stay in hostels anyways so we will just do that, then we wont have so much to lug around. I hve a sore throat and am really tired. But I'm happy that I got sick now because I will be better by the time were ready to ...
... I'm going before I go. It makes me feel like I'm on the trip before I've even left! Plus I do that even if I'm not traveling somewhere. I actually collect maps and used guidebooks! Anyway, I should be a travel guide updater...but how do you get into that? I dont know. So I'll stick with blogging (this is my first time bloggong!)
Back to the subject, PACKING FOR OUR TRIP! Were trying to find a cheap expensive pop up tent on craigslist and e bay.
- approximate total cost of trip = $11000
- (groceries and supplies) + (entertainment, recreation, dining out and tours) = $5000
- fuel = $2600
- RV parks/campgrounds = $1900
- misc (tires, tolls, repairs, internet, laundry, etc…) = $1500
It's time to go home. Back to reality. (The reality being we are unable to support this lifestyle without further income.) This return date was chosen, for the most part, because Violet is to start school next week and will have her Jr High orientation tomorrow afternoon.
