This summer I went to the Canary Islands with my friends. We did a lot of things there; we went to the swimming pool, partying, to the dune beach, and to the aqua park party...

Also, one day we went to one beach where there were a lot of water sports and we practised the motorskying, parasailing and a los of things.

Finally we come back to Spain with hangovers and our bodies very pained becouse we fell many ...

We can't wait to get started!

We have been working hard to prepare for the Atlantic crossing.

Geoff has become an expert supermarket shopper (watch out Mary!) with the fantastic support of Diane.

Tim has been working on all matters to do with the boat and especially our navigation equipment. We have a yellow brick tracker on board which will be transmitting our position on a regular basis to the arc website http://www.worldcruising.com/arc/eventf leetviewer.aspx

Madeira is magical! A wonderful, luscious and calm island open to explorers and botanical enthusiasts alike. Quite a contrasting island to the other Canary islands which are fairly baron and dark, Maderia is bright, green and buzzing with natural life. Leaving that behind on the morning of Wednesday 19th September we set off briskly in a well fuelled and provisioned Taboo for a three day sail to Gran Canaria (where she'd been 5 years previously).
