Greetings from the Rocky Mountains!
We arrived in Vancouver on Sunday afternoon about 7 hrs before we actually took off from Auckland which was weird.
It was dark by the time we arrived in Whistler so our first glimse of the mountains was the next morning. It is lovely. We are staying in a beautiful condo with a hot tub which has great views of the mountains.

... as you were above the mist it was amazing! Chris managed to get a few runs in on his own practising coming down on his left side and going faster. I had training for my babysitting job in the evening and Tuesday's in Whistler is Karaoke night at Crystal lounge so we met everybody after for a good old sing song... Whistle while you walk
... trip up. LInda and Nev were in the back and were a little concerned that Johnny was getting a little close to the cyclists he was passing. When we got to our hotel we realised that we'd lucked out again and were in an ideal spot in the middle of Whistler village, within a couple of hundred meters of the sky lifts, brew house, Dairy Queen and other essential locations. Bye Whistler, Hello Vancouver....Again!
... in Vancouver around 7pm, caught our shuttle to a hotel which was 2 blocks from ours and walked the rest of the way. Checked back in at the Rosedale (we stayed here earlier in the week) and picked up a suitcase full of things we knew we didn't need in whistler that the hotel held for us for the grand price of $12!
We unpacked, settled in and crashed out for the night.
Tomorrow we are doing a couple of walking tours around Vancouver in 26C ...
Fra coast mountains til RockyMountains
... forskellige søer og dele af byen. Så vi havde en fed formiddag på mountainbikes. Desværre punkterede esben på vejen tilbage og måtte trække de sidste par km, men så fik jeg jo også mulighed for at mærke hvor tung traileren var på bakkerne....
