At first we thought they were large rocks on the side of the road but after knowing what to look for we managed to see a few herds, grazing on the grass on the road verge. We also saw Stone sheep ... The scenery of the Rockies is nothing short of amazing. The real highlight for me would have been the day we travelled from Jasper to Banff on the Icefields Parkway. What a road. It has been voted one of the most scenic roads and I could see why. In every direction and at every turn there were glorious snow capped peaks, or fresh running streams.
