... on the other Loveland base (Loveland Valley). We were skiing on Loveland Basin. So we decided to connect at the bottom of Loveland Basin. As they were skiing down to the base - Vienne lost control and went into the trees and hit a tree head on. The ski patrol had to get her out of the trees as she suffered a concussion. They took her via ambulance all the way back to the Denver children's hospital in Aurora. ...

... the Mountain Manhattan and Kelly had the White Hot Martini. We ordered starters - escargot, lamb tandoori, and potatoe chips with blue cheese and chives. Watched the Riviera golf tournament for a bit, talked to a bartender who used to live in Austin, and generally had a great time. Walked back to the condo, then watched the Oscars (not so great).

... down the hill on my back. I must've looked ridiculous, particularly because I was laughing at the situation I'd got myself into! But, i did it! I got all the way down the mountain by myself and in one piece... Biggest adrenaline run ever!!! Woo hoo! Michael also finished the day well, he didn't get a chance to take on the blue run but had a great time. We both can't wait for tomorrow... Looking forward to hitting the slopes again ...
