... zich recht zet en naar een boot gaat. Hij is de ferryman. We mogen aan boord en het varen zelf duurt maar een 10-tal minuten. De boot terug is elk half uur maar hoe we ook aandringen, niemand kan ons meer specifiek vertellen wanneer dat is. We rekenen zelf uit dat de boten waarschijnlijk telkens op het uur en op het half uur vertrekken uit Plaka en tien minuten later op het eiland zijn. We hebben dus een klein uurtje om het eiland te bezoeken.

As we were quite roasted from yesterday and the sun was burning down we stayed indoors for a bit doing admin etc. Our rather large dirty clothes bag came to mind so I asked Big Dora where we might do some laundry. Turns out apparently the closet one is in the town towards the beach and according to Big Dora “Must walk, only 20 minutes, yes yes you fine, go go”. Cool so off we set with the bag on our backs…at least ...
Easter Sunday Greek style

Beautiful resort but not a lot to do as a result of the crazy wind. We decided to take a drive to nearby Agios Nikolaos which was a worthwhile place to check out but nothing special. We had a nice view from the restaurant for dinner which was the ...
Day 99 - Elounda
... though we had lathered ourselves from head to foot in sunscreen, it didn't take long to feel as though we had been baked. We retreated to the Mediterranean restaurant for some meze and ice cold beer before returning to the hotel for a siesta. The girls hit the pool straight away, and have probably spent more time under water today than on terra firma.
