This morning we packed up all our "stuff" and put what we didn't need to take with us to Gili in storage at our Lemongrass villa on Bali. Wayan and his brother picked us up to drive us to Padang Bai where we catch the fast boat to Gili. It was a quick trip over....maybe an hour to an hour and a half....zipped pass quickly. The mountains in the distance were so beautiful withe the fluffy clouds hanging over them. The boat drove right up on to the beach where we could ...

We ate again at Temple Lodge tonight as they were offering a sushi night. The food here is amazing and it is fantastic sitting at communal tables and meeting more people. I am loving it.

... I worked construction during summers when I was in university and he was my foreman. There were many good days of hanging off 30 story buildings sharing self righteous wisdom while installing windows. The G Man always said Garvin would be a good firefighter. I agree.

Being back at work feels really good. The students arrive next Monday. I have 15 in my class. I like that number.

My cousin and her friend are here. ...

... area. Made is keen to get is there before dark so we can find a place. Arriving we try lots of places all full. We settle on a place called Made Oka which is cheap at 130 but has cold water. I loved a place further along which smelt of incense. However Made Oka is cute like a mountain chalet, window panes and a stunning view. My appetite is non existent! We wander across the road and watch the sunset and then return to ...
