This is a resort town on the coast. Just 15 minutes away are the ruins of Ephesus, an ancient city. Two giant theaters, one held 25,000 people. There was a library, marketplace, brothel. For an additional fee you could tour the Terrace Houses. One of them was 10,000 sq.ft. They had hot and cold running water and central heating in times before Christ! Wild cats are everywhere. ...

The beach was all stones and gravel but AJG had a dip in the Aegean Sea. The water was very clear but quite salty making very easy to float. The water was a bit cold but the weather was warm so we had a couple of beers while we lay on the beach ...

Sitting is a little cafe enjoying watching the old men play backgammon on lesvos with a beautiful view over the harbour. Another spectacular Greek island with a day enjoying the old town and the beach. We walked about 20 mins out of town and found our own perfect little paradise beach, no one on it, beautiful clear blue water as always. What more to say ...
