      ... fried chicken, brown stewed chicken and pork. We were able to look in all the pots and have a bit of whatever we liked, all for $3 per person. It was delicious. A couple of the hopeful guides waited patiently nearby while we had lunch and chatted to the chef and barman and watched them prepare a joint!

      We ended up contracting one of the guys as a guide to take us on a walk for about an hour, through banana plantations, past ...

      ... shoes . No alcohol but we could smoke weed and buy a candle at 1 dollar to light and carry round the tomb!! respect Man!!! He is buried with his guitar a football and a ' spliff' !!! The smell of the weed in the tomb was very strong you certainly didn't need to be smoking it !!! One of the guides was so high he was climbing the trees , squealing and swinging likea monkey!! But they were all very friendly and peaceful man!! ...

      Friday 13th February, Montego Bay.

      A huge cruise boat had arrived during the night and moored quite close to us. Wendy went for an early morning paddle to check it out and also to have a look around the bay.       ... I went to 7 mile beach for my first day and had a good time. The water is soooo clear here that it is unreal. I couldn't believe it. The beaches are lined with restaurants and bars and very crowded especially when you get into the resorts.
