Driving north on Hwy 19 up to Tallahassee the weather is cooler, trees are bigger, grass is greener & we have rolling landscape for the first time this month. The Elevation here is a whopping 203ft! it is more rural, there are a few cattle & I wonder if it is old plantation lands. We drive through poor communities with lots of old abandoned buildings.

We have been walking pretty reguarly 4-5 miles per day and this one was about 5.5 miles. The rain began shortly after our return and has not let up except for a few minutes here and there. The temperatures were in the 30's at night, and although it was only in the 50's during the day, at least it was sunny! I enjoyed a walk on the beautiful beach and a couple fantastic sunsets over the ...

... We then drove back near the campground and had lunch at the Crab Trap. The views off their patio of the Gulf were fantastic! And the food was pretty good to. We both had their signature crab cakes – long on crab meat and short on filler, lightly battered and pan fried.

On the 11th, we pretty much just chilled out at the coach and made a Wally World ...

... The suggestions were no better than the road we were on but we did decided to take their short .75 of a mile cut off instead of riding 2 miles around a point. The first half of the "cut off" was great paved road no cars.... The second half that google suggested was a power line trail leading into what I thought looked exactly like a jungle and I was positive was full of poisonous snake, dead bodies, and who knows what else. After ...
