    Despite our abysmal trip through Alligator Alley we had a lovely drive as we headed north out of Florida. Once on the gulf coast Lew and I decided to stop at Siesta Key. The key is proudly adorned with signs proclaiming it the #1 Beach in the USA. It was quite beautiful, but none of the beaches were dog friendly. That leaves it's rankings far below the #1 ranking it boasts, but I'll post photos and allow you to decide for yourself.

    ... we made it through! We made the most amazing memories during the last week. As much as I love vacations, I also love getting home, sitting on my own couch and sleeping in my own bed!

    ... failed we could always cancel it! Even the day of we were scared that she would hate it, but decided to go any way. We got to the marina about a half an hour before the boat was set to head out. My stomach was still churning in fear of spending an hour and a half on a boat with a screaming 18 month old.
