      ... the bars. Of course we found an Irish pub, called the Shamrock, and we set up shop for the night. Maureen was delighted to see ciders on the menu and went for a magners and while was a little bored of the Thai beer, I decided to go for a Laos beer instead (it's one of the favourites since travelling).       ... and I volunteered in so many years ago and have never met anyone who's been there, never mind lived there! They were equally as excited that I had been there and kept bringing me around and telling people, "this is Lisa, she has been to Nakuru!! And she climbed Mount Kenya!" The girls were right, they were hilarious and definitely ready to party. We found a really nice place on the beach that could accommodate such a big group and settled in to have a couple drinks. ...

      ... that I felt she was being ungrateful as I had brought it all the way back from the shops. Lilli said that I had gone to the Big C to get the Big D and I added she was right and that I had got the Big A in return. We laughed.       ... any of the writing at all! In Malaysia all of the signs are in english as well as Malay but this did not seem to be the case here. Not only is it a different language but it is a different alphabet too so we had no chance! Thankfully as we got to more touristy spots, some of the signposts were written in english! Shortly after arriving over the border in Thailand we had to change mini buses. The one we got onto was nearly full and we were left with the back seats. ...

      Woke up and had an English breakfast down the road (scrambled eggs and toast) we then booked snorkelling for tomorrow and got a taxi to go to Phangan total wipeout also had a snooze on our private beach for a couple of hours. Had lunch at the centre (baguette) and then did the course a few times. If I got over the red balls Id get a free t shirt (was too hard).
