... and headed for our hotel which was about a 15 minute drive. The Peace Resort is located on Bo Phut beach, the North side of the island. We had high expectations of this resort and it certainly hasn't failed us so far. The approach was a tree lined driveway just off a busy strip of bars, shops and restaurants. ... into Dubai and then finally London this evening. We arrive in London at around 7am local time so hopefully we can get to sleep on the plane. Koh Samui has been fantastic and I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing destination in the tropics. It caters for everyone. We have had cheap days and expensive days. ... overboard I resigned myself to endless reruns of videos of my shoelaces on the iPad. Luckily I spotted an attractive blonde (my friend would have her down for a Swedish nymphomaniac) young girl playing on a Mac. In one of those grovelling "I'm old and stupid" voices I sought help. With a smile and a minuscule swipe of the screen all was back on track thus ensuring that I am still able to capture the occasional image of Franki burning up the tarmac ...

... we went though! The Buddha was beautiful and the site itself breathtaking. I wish we could have gotten there a bit sooner, since we quickly lost any light lingering in the sky.

The motorbike was a great way to explore the island and I can't wait to see more tomorrow!
