After reaching the small hut where the dodgy looking jet ski operators were located, we hired a 1600 cc Yamaha jet ski for twenty minutes, with Dad at the controls and me sitting on the back. We soon realised that the sea was much more choppy than what it looked from the shoreline, and the choppiness meant we were unable to utilise the jet ski to its full potential. There were many restaurants serving Israeli food and lots of signs in Hebrew and even Hebrew writing on the advertisements on public transportation. Some of the Thai shopkeepers would speak Hebrew. As we found out at the Seder, Koh Samui is a very popular spot for Israelis. At night in Chaweng Beach we went to a show called Starz Cabaret and ...

... just as we were sitting down we heard a pop... Lisa had accidentally sat on my travel pillow. I spent the rest of the journey incredibly uncomfortable and I slept very little. We arrived as the sun was rising up in Surat Thani (where we were getting the boat across to the island from). We waited here exhausted and uncomfortable with nothing to do for 3 hours until the next bus took us to the boat... I started to ...
