    - 5AM bus to airport doesn't show
    - Almost get jumped by a motorcycle gang
    - Miraculously score tuktuk to airport
    - Fly, sleep, read
    - land in Krabi, go big bus to van
    - no food, hungry, stop for bathrooms
    - buy weird cake, take a shot on some tamarinds which are ******* disgusting
    - With a heavy heart, I decide I must throw them out
    - Ferry is kinda fun, ****** air ...

    ... was filthy, but was in itself, an experience. After lunch in Na Thong, we briefly visited the Tree Top Fire Fox and "The Cliff Restaurant", and after driving through more windy, we returned to the Amari at about quarter to five. We then had dinner at a restaurant with a name I can't remember, where I enjoyed a fairly tasty chicken "Gordon bleu", before we returned to the hotel and went to bed, with a far more relaxing SOYA day to look forward to tomorrow.

    ... just chilled on the beach and grabbed a cheeky nap. It's 8 o'clock and we are all finally awake and time to head out for tea. Charlotte had sneakily booked us in at a nice restaurant and suprised me with 2 hand made shirts from Vietnam; what a girl!     ... to the tourists - bracelets and leis are popular. I politely declined all offers, but one persistent little girl wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. She challenged me to a game of tic-tac-toe. I lose, I buy the $3 lei. I win, she gives it to me free. I lost in 3 moves. She must practice a lot.

    I really enjoyed Koh Samui, Its a nice Island and well worth the visit. The next step of my journey is Koh Phangan to meet up with some work buddies and experience the full moon party. I was expecting some big nights and lots of drinking. I easily booked my ticket for the hotel pickup and boat transfer from one of the travel places near my hotel and was due to be picked up at 9am the next day. The ticket was 350bht ($12). ...
