A travel blog entry by iloveeurope35 on Jan 11, 2015

... us the jet skiing was actually done at another beach about ten minutes away, and after being slightly unimpressed with what we saw, we decided to get a taxi back to Lamai Beach, with our jet ski day becoming a нет ski day (нет as in the Russian word for no, pronounced niet) . After having a few drinks, we shopped around for a few bargain t shirts, and after returning to the Amari Hotel, we had lunch by the pool. Conor and Mum sat by the pool ...

... very basic bungalow overlooking the ocean and could jump into deep, refreshing water however many times a day we desired. This was important because when we say "basic" we really mean basic. The electricity was only on a few hours a day, so our miniature fan was seldom on and on most days of our stay the water in our bungalow was mostly mud. But it was certainly charming. However, after a few days of not really showing it was time to head to Koh ...

... hotel, we saw just as many tables set up here as at the Chabad house. We were early so we were able to choose a table near the centre of the room. Some of the people we met yesterday at Chabad told us there would only be a few other English speaking people coming and they would try to seat us together. Shortly after we sat down, a really nice family from Switzerland came and sat with us. The husband was born and raised in Switzerland, the wife was ...
