Ciao Italy - Hola Spain
... Started in 1848 it took 25 years to complete, but by the time it was finished it was already outdated as the artillery systems of the day had changed. It took us a couple of hours to wander around and we only did half of it. Tunnels, moats, bastions, gun gallery's, ammunition holds, barracks it is quite an amazing architectural feat.
We will leave here in the next day(or two) and explore the north coast of Menorca and then onto Mallorca.
