... us all a small present, mum got a ring box, Nana got a toothpick container, I got a doll charm and Pa ‘’is a gentleman so doesn't need anything" which was very nice of her.

Mum and I were dropped off at Santorini Park, a newly opened shopping centre which is advertised as an ‘amused shopping experience’ as there are rides around the place.

... up the steel post at the end of the boat and onto the tarp roof which scared me. When I turned around to face the front again, there were six monkey’s standing literally 30cm away from me! They were greedy, hungry and vicious trying to grab everything they could, size or weight didn’t matter. The whole time with the adrenaline I thought they were after my camera, which they certainly weren’t getting but they did get a bunch of bananas ...

... so far with twin matrasses on a sort of huge shelf. Lovely landscaped area with a lake and lots of teak seats and tables around to enjoy the view and bird spot. Not much sign of the owners; food good but not exciting; 2 Germans with English guide, no other guests and all to bed about 8.30pm,so no craic!
Bird report: mainly travelling day but Asian Open bill Stork seen from train and the very large Oriental Pied Hornbill and a Yellow Bittern when we arrived at Ban Maaka.
