... fresh fruit and coconuts. Some had meat as well but it was mostly fruit. On one stall a lady offered for me to try a palm seed in syrup. It was very sweet and odd but I knew what to expect for the rest of the day after that.

We bought some jack fruit, mangoes and tiny cucumbers at the market before heading back to the house.

Trains was delayed by 2.5 hours when came there was no room we stood between carriages well Tim sat between carriages! for half the journey and me standing had some mad moments s include being man handled by random Thai ladies to the next train, changing at platform 3 when there is no actual platform and you just jump of one Train and run across the tracks to your next train, getting on ...

... on wet bleachers mixed in with many local Thai's we ate our 'weird foreigner' breakfast and enjoyed the long boat racing. There was the quintessential man yelling over the microphone as quickly and loudly as possible, like he was actioning off the racers themselves. The Thai's couldn't even understand what he was saying about the race and the repetitive traditional Thai instruments beating in the background didn't help. ...

... us all a small present, mum got a ring box, Nana got a toothpick container, I got a doll charm and Pa ‘’is a gentleman so doesn't need anything" which was very nice of her.

... up the steel post at the end of the boat and onto the tarp roof which scared me. When I turned around to face the front again, there were six monkey’s standing literally 30cm away from me! They were greedy, hungry and vicious trying to grab everything they could, size or weight didn’t matter. The whole time with the adrenaline I thought they were after my camera, which they certainly weren’t getting but they did get a bunch of bananas ...
