There was a straw market which was a big area where merchants so their souvenirs and hand made baskets, but that burned down the week before the regatta. It was sad to see, but Sandals down the road donated a large tent for the ladies to set up and sell what they had left.

Conception Island is an islet, it is 2,100 acres and uninhabited land. It is an important rookery for nesting seabirds and hatching site for green turtles. The Island is protected as a Bahamas National Land and Sea Park.

Seeing as we have this great weather window, we need to keep moving, and won't be spending more than one night anchored off of the Cape Santa Maria Resort, Calabash Bay, Long Island.

But it sure is good to be back here. This resort is absolutely breathtaking. This is perfection in paradise which is attainable to all. The airport isn't far ...
