    ... crashed! I woke up today, Friday, at 7 because my host dad was taking me to the Milan EXPO. Now since no one knows what the heck that is... I will explain. Every country has their own pavilion where they create a building to go with the topic. The topic this year was Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life.     ... Tim loved the diving boards. We've had many delicious meals thanks to Holly. The other night we went for pizza and Tim ordered what he thought was salami, but turned out to be a salmon pizza ;0) A few more things are the caves that we toured around Porlezza, and then zip line experience yesterday! Quite a rush! Today we are off to a mini vacation to Cinque Terre, Lucca, and Florence. Oh yes- we also took a ferry from Mennagio to Bellagio! ...

    ... is in a brilliant location about 2 minutes walk from the water. We drop the bags and head out. It's beautiful with another picture perfect day and the lake is still and lovely. The boys find a playground and some grass to run around and get rid of the extra energy and Paul tries his hand at fancy photography, some of which looks pretty good.     ... and humidity and there are only a limited number of visitors allowed each day. But with all that, it was a truly amazing experience to see it. I have seen images of it many times but had never seen the emotions that Leonardo captured in the faces of the disciples. It is a masterpiece.     ... I eat! I'm snacking on a delicious, buttery apricot croissant and a cappuccino foaming to perfection. Mmmmmmmmmm.

    We are waiting for all the other Si Parla Si Canta folk to arrive. We will meet at Door 6 of the Milan-Malpensa Airport, and then take a charter bus to Urbania, the little town where our program takes place. This will be another long day of traveling as our bus ride will take approximately 5 or 6 hours.
