Double U : Umalas and then Ubud

In the afternoon I went with Jenny and
her cousins to Ubud. First we went to the Monkey forest. It is a
place where monkeys (and tourists) gather. It's funny, you can buy
bananas and give them to the monkeys. Or « give » may not
be the appropriate term. The monkeys are pretty sure of themselves
and don't hesitate to steal the bananas...
We then drove to the market of Ubud. I

... Liberty. The Liberty was a cargo ship, which was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine out in the Lombok Strait on 11 January 1942, but made it back to shore. It stayed on the beach until 1963, when a volcano erupted and the lava pushed the ship back into the sea. It is only 30 metres from the shore and so we just walked out to it.
