This morning Dad finally got to sleep in!
Wahoo! We had to check out by 10 but we were booked to go on the ferry to Magnetic Island at 3pm, so we had a bit of time to fill in.

One week in the sun, drinking and cruising round the island with the hole family.. such a good week! the wedding was so good it was the best day good weather... great week all in all

4 o clock rolled around it was time to feed the lorikeets. They were deafening and abnoxious: their claws scratched your arms and they tustled over pickings. They perched wherever they could, even if it meant hanging out of your hair! Crazy birds! ...
... picnic table and ate it. Whilst we sat there we tried out the wifi connection between the new camera and the iPhone. It allows you to take photos, zoom the camera and download the photos to the iPhone. The attached photo of us at the picnic table was done via the phone remote control.
Just before Townville we came upon smoke. They were burning off in National Park. It looked pretty interesting so we stopped and took a few photos.

... staying in the middle of a small forest, very in touch with nature. We go for a walk down to a cute little bay, its only got 4 restaurants and a tiny supermarket. Very nice chilled place but think I'd get bored after a week. It's ladies night at the hostel and we also have a free jug of cider each, this hostel knows how to get the backpackers in. We order pizza for dinner and bump into the lovely Nathalie. We met her on Fraser Island but ...
How has this villa rated in the past?
A lovely way to spend some time on Magnetic Island. We loved the fact that we were self-contained and the location was truly magical being just over from the beach. Will be here again
