... tower. I was surprised to see what looked like a lagoon on the beach. There's usually a little stream there but I have never seen anything like this. Even the sand dunes had been shifted, I presume by the storm.
Walking to Tunnels isn't that far but its tedious going when you're sinking in fine sand all the way. It's a real workout! Just as I got to Tunnels, it started raining so ...
I was wide awake just before the cocks started 5.30am this morning. Had a shower and faffed about in the room for a while, called home and headed for the car just before 7.30am. Heading north through Hanalei, I did battle with all the one lane bridges and actually managed to get in a parking spot at Ke'e Beach! This is only the second time ever that I've managed to get parked there. Usually the only place to abandon the car is what is laughingly known as the "overflow car park." ...
... you have them on and they are scratch resistant and safe in salt water. Perfect for here! Can also give the thumbs up for Sun Bum! The only downside is that I had to walk round the room naked for half an hour waiting for the after sun to soak in!

... home but it was fun to see what was there. Lots of fresh fruits, vegetables & Kauai art. The best part was the guy cutting the coconuts and selling them. Several people were waking around drinking out of a coconut with a straw. Once done with the juice you can take it back and the farmer will cut the coconut out for you to eat.
Decided to drive to the "end of the road". This is where the road on the island ends literally. ...
