... tucking into coconut shrimp for two weeks! They just forgot the new fridge! Need to stock up on cereal, milk, juice etc, so a fridge would come in handy. I also need to let them know the car reg as it wasn't printed on the plastic key fob as usual. Instead, there was a bit of cardboard attached but it disintegrated in the rain last night.

Thought there was a fire alarm around midnight last night, until it realised it was my mobile phone making the racket. It was a ...

We had lunch back at the condo and spent the afternoon at the ...

... I think for 2 reasons...one being there is only one road that goes around the island & everyone was out shopping since it was rainy.

The three of us were getting hungry and I had read about a "famous" local restaurant called Hamura Saimin several different times on tripadvisor. Saimin is a Hawaiian "comfort food". Long soft, crinkly Chinese style noodles in a Japanese style broth. Topped with green onions, slices of fish ...

... turn off and refreshments served, we were preparing for landing. Amazing view from the airplane. We now have a better appreciation of why they call this island the garden island, vegetation is thick and lush, bordered by steep rugged cliffs along the coastline. The opening waterfall scene of Jurassic Park was filmed here. A must see while visiting Kauai. First ...
