... sleep depraved, I chose to only visit the first. Having said that, the first certainly disappoint. Pristine clear water.comes crashing down 30m or so onto trickling pools (or foolhardy me) below. Great spot for a refreshing dip and cool down. Feeling refreshed, I made my way back to my palace, sampling a soto ayam and a few other raya staples that were being prepared at the warungs lining the street. Some reading, a stressful text message induced beer and some ...

... pools. My guide explained that about 2 hours hike away was a cave in which locals sometimes fight to the death with curved swords for honor in their villages, as the volcano is holy land. The water was the ...

... to take our bags. We were well aware of them so managed to avoid them. It was pretty difficult getting off the boat though, it was moving so much in the waves. The boat nearly tipped at one point as a wave hit us and everyone was stood on one side. Not the best idea. That was pretty nerve racking! We had booked a shuttle bus from the Gili's so knew we had to find that. One guy with a horse and cart came and looked at our ...

... pet it as it swam by us!! We followed it up and were above water when it popped its cutie head up. Reel said that we saw a lot of turtles so we felt very fortunate. Oh! I saw a little shark! And a squid. At our next stop reel gave us bread to bring into the water so that we could feed the fish. The minute we brought the bread into the water hundreds of fish surrounded us packing at the bread in our hands. They were all sizes shapes and colors and it just felt amazing to ...
