Great day today of sight seeing! We had a lovely breakfast on the lanai to crashing waves and sea turtles bobbing everywhere. Then we headed out to the Kauai Coffee Company. Surfers paradise og en fantastisk natur
... var fantastisk, omend bølgerne lidt større og voldsommere end vi tidligere havde prøvet. Vi havde da også noteret os de mange advarselsskilte om at bade med stor forsigtighed - skulle jo nødig fanges i bølgerne, som rullede sandet i kraftige bølger ind over strand kanten. Vi blev dog ikke helt afskrækkede fra at dyppe tæerne i bølgen blå, men der var en årsag til skiltene!! Pludselig kom der en bølge, som skyllede Maria ud af hænderne på Lene og op på stranden - resultatet var, ...
The Early bird....
... were happy to see the monk seal was still out and I got my photo-op after all! It was about this time, that it began to rain big fat rain drops and we quickened our pace the rest of the way home...of course, the rain stopped by the time we made it.
We spent the rest of the night in, enjoying our meal from Koloa Fish Market with some bubbly we bought at Costco. Opah is my new favorite fish! And the haupia sweet potato pie was wonderful.

... Hawaiian Island of Kauai. As we walked thru the shop, we hear the sound of our phone; we had received a call while lost in the fog of Waimea Canyon. We were treated to a voice from home. Shelby was concerned that I had not started entering blogs as of this time.

A month in Kauai, Hawaii
... neither of us gained any weight! We had left over spaghetti for lunch and then I went to office to print boarding passes and it took at least an hour and finally had to bring my computer down to get it done. Now showers and finish packing the boxes for storage. Swim may not happen-lousy weather today - very windy, but if possible we will do it. Took the packed boxes to the storage unit and gave Rindy all our food, not much left, then walked up to Bobby Vs for a great Eggplant ...
