On the road again, towel and bathers packed heading south. Our tour advisor has indicated the many sight-seeing and shopping opportunities along the way. A great day awaits. First stop Kilauea Point Lighthouse. A picturesque structure towering over rugged cliffs on the east coast of the island. Pass the historic village of Kilauea. The pilot Brian was great..he is a surfer which helped guide the conversation ...

Driving on the main road we couldn't help but notice the island's natural beauty which reminded us of the scenery around northern NSW, particularly around Byron. There were some really impressive and idyllic homesteads and ranches along the way. We missed a couple of turnoffs on the way to Poipu but the island is small ...

... was lunch of left over salad at a little beach -this is more like it.

We finally, with the aid of a few more telephone calls found our accommodation. Princeville is a very up market area built around two amazing golf courses. Don't get the wrong idea - our place is not that flash, a bit dated with quite a few permanent residents. Clean and comfortable though.
