          ... patron saint of iItaly. Not sure why her head is separate from her body, which is located in her old family home not far from where her head is. The whole thing is weird to me. I also do not understand why she does not have a church named after her in Siena.           ... decided to go to a waterpark called Acqua Village. It was a lot of fun. There were two slides called Kamikaze. You can guess the extremity of these slides. The slides consist of a straight drop, then a flat part that comes out of nowhere. The result: a lot of water in your face and not enough breath to process it all.           Like everywhere else we've stayed, we had no idea what we were actually getting here. We had to wire a deposit of cash way back in March, and just take a leap of faith that it was going to be as good as we hoped. It is. The views are stunning, the pool is refreshing and cold, the proprietors - Giovanna and Giovanni - could NOT be nicer, and Giovanna's cooking is the best we have ever tasted. G and G ...

          ... t change. Fun. We decided to walk to St. Marks Square. It was insanity. There were hundreds of people, and hundreds more of pigeons. I saw an Asian tourist who had a phrase list with spaghetti translated in into I'm guessing Chinese. At the Square we saw the basilica, but we didn't go in. We also saw the clock tower and governmental buildings. We were in the square at about 11:50 and on the hour, two brass men strike the clock, so we stuck around to see that. Then ...
