We 'Hopped on and Hopped off' today on the city tour busses. There are 4 different routes and we only managed 2. The traffic makes it slow but who's hurrying. The sun got hot on the top but nice to relax and get the feel of this enormous city. There are huge monuments, galleries and churches everywhere. ... Of course Mexican food in which I ate at a set menu place 20 pesos which included cordial soup rice and tacos yum o. We then headed to the zocole in which we went to this bar in which they sold the drink in which I saw the plant yesterday when I went walking. ... s a lot safer and pedestrian friendly. We used all types of transport available (our own feet, metro, micro bus, colectivos, metrobus and taxi from the street) and really juggle from one means to another making our stay very easy! In terms of other general observations, although it's no news, the food is really delicious and it's amazing how one can eat 'healthy' ( aka not fast food but a home cooked meal, usually a bit too greasy by my standards) for very cheap and pretty much ...

... we drove without pause. Then we stopped in a little town called Xicotepec. There was no announcement, we just pulled into station. There was so little fanfare that I worried I’d miss Tecolutla when we got there, but there were still three hours until we were scheduled to arrive, so I went back to reading the novel I’d brought with me. Two hours later, I finished it. I wondered what I’d do to amuse myself on the trip home.
