    Mississippi brightens up our day

    The rest of our journey takes us both sides of the mississippi river. It is great riding and see lots of street parties celebrating the 4th July. We pass through a little town called Kellog which I thought was amusing, so take a picture of their equally amusing water tower.

    La Crosse is set beside the Mississippi and yes you have guessed it, our hotel for the night is a Super 8.

    ... Wolf Lodge for families.

    As I finish this blog for I want to say that Jim and I are able to keep up with news online as well as TV and we were shocked with the events last week in Charleston. I want to say that we are proud of South Carolina in the way the citizens of Charleston and the rest of the state have handled such a horrible event. S.C showed the USA and the world that we don't have to resort to riots and poor behavior to handle terrible events.

    Woke up early to leave MKE by 9am.

    Ashley found the Museum of Historic Torture Devices using the Roadtrippers app. We're both into weird stuff, and this being right on the way to our campground, we had to stop in. Neither of us were ready for Wisconsin Dells.
