... I had my head burned, although I stay mostly in the shade. Then I had an interesting conversation with Ivan, a Russian engineer of St. Petersburg, the only Russian who understood that the collapse of the ruble is due to the collapse in oil prices wanted by Saudi Arabia to take out the American producers of oil and gas with the fracking system. But the novelty of the day was the removal by police of ...

Up early we make our way to the bus stand only to be told buses don't start until 7:30, we need to leave at 7! Not a good start, we jump in a tuk tuk for the hour journey, not very comfortable with big bags but we get there with plenty time. We check in and board the plane to Kuala Lumpur. The 4 hour flight was smooth and we arrive after a bumpy landing in malasia. For ...

... br> - Not seeing Maya Island ("The Beach")

I will just have to go back :)

Food in Thailand is fantastic and out of all the countries we have visited we have talked about Thailand’s food the most.

I finally found yoghurt after 6 weeks of not having any (in Brisbane I would have Greek yoghurt like 5 times a week!). It was a staple of my ...
