... and it's the usual fair. I'm hoping linen military woman turns up as Captain Birdseye complete with a linen beard.but alas she is not there. I'm gutted I hope she's not been taken by Somali linen pirates thinking she's high up in the fake linen navy.

Lunch is devoured and we head to the beach as our time to go to the spa nears. I'm getting very anxious about strangers touching me.

Everywhere we went the bow and arrow went first we walked on the flats of the river. Which is known as the brown river and apparently hides many crocs. Again not the shoes as they float and could be in any of a million colours so would be easy to spot but no less dangerous. They give me blisters. Because we went to bed early we had a vey long night and got up early this day. Had a relaxing breakfast and felt better than the day before. At 9 am we started off for our acclimatization day also known as the short summit circuit. Just climb a bit higher to 4.600 m to enjoy the view and get a feel for the climb to Point Lenana.
