... Solve a Problem Like Maria. I found a spot way up high. Away from the crowds. And then, five minutes before it’s scheduled to start, 2 women take up the chairs beside me. And from straight from the opening credits they started…yadda, yadda, yadda…blah, blah, blah…incessant chatter. As much as I wanted to give them a piece of my mind, or at the very least, a stern glare…I took the high road, and relocated. I got back to my cabin this afternoon ...

... Wells. We need to time it right and factor in the tide and the strong current going through. We managed to time our exit through perfectly, but it meant getting up at 6:30 am. It was an easy transit through to the other side of Eleuthera. It can get fairly rough through the cut if the conditions are right. There are mooring balls at the small settlement on the north side of the cut for boaters unable to make it through the cut and having to wait it out.

Overnight the water receded to where we could have driven out of the driveway. Not sure what this latest round of rain will do to that situation. In the meanwhile, we have power; ...

... Short final proved interesting as the northeast and variable wind quickly became obscured by the tall trees to the north of the runway and I placed the Diamond Star on the runway "with purpose". We cleared Immigration and Customs with Ichabod's laborious and pricey documentation barely getting a look. Thats OK we'd rather it be easy and over-planned as most of this portion of the trip seemed to be. Now we head to Bahama Sunset for a week of downtime. ...

Bikinis and Boo-kinis at Princess Cays

... went over to Princess Cays around 11am by Tender and immediately wandered in and out of the shops and walked along the path until we came to the area where food was set up. Essentially there were four lines but at 11.30 there were only two in use so we thought we may as well eat while we’re there. There was all sorts of BBQ meat from chicken, fish, pork ribs, some kind of sausage and burgers and lots of salads, iced water or iced tea. There was plenty ...
