... Had to stop halfway at a gas station to fill up. It was in the middle of nowhere, like one of those places where people stop in horror movies. Lol. Health Scare

... for the $1000 deductible to keep the cost down. With the various tests they did, it probably will end up costing us the full deductible. Despite that, I'm sure glad we decided to buy insurance! You just never know.

Although I wasn't impressed with the wait time before even being triaged, from what I hear about Calgary ER's we got pretty quick treatment in comparison. It will be interesting to see what the entire event ended up costing.

... This one did seem to have quite a bit of traffic and lots of curves with Denis using turnouts regularly. We stopped at a casino we had never been to-- Cahuilla, I think-- no luck but lovely setting, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. How can I keep saying that when California has a population greater than all of Canada??!! Then we started the downhill and what a roller coaster of a road-- known as the Pines to Palms Highway...
