... as those in the car pool lane flew by (we missed the entrance), then after about 30 minutes got the change to join the car pool lane. Of course then watched enviously from the car pool lane as the regular lanes flew by ..... there is a pattern here - were we creating the traffic issue. ... that we have managed to acquire player cards at pretty much all of the larger casinos and have kept our losses to a minimum.


We spent one blustery day going to the Joshua Tree National Park and taking in the beautiful desert landscapes. Unfortunately it was a bit overcast and some of the pictures didn't turn out as good as what is seen with the naked eye, but pretty good none the less.

... I did help out a bit on the interstates. Most people who go east to west use I-10, but we managed to avoid it most of the way and drove only a couple of hundred miles on it.
