Day 6- Fijian School

... or rugby. However I opted to watch and instead talked to an 11th grade girl. After this break we headed back into the classroom for a snack of fruit, finger sandwiches, and some random orange pastry. Then we broke into small groups to tour the school and to visit with some of the classes. After about an hour we visited about 8 different classrooms and we learned about a typical day at school in Fiji firsthand. Then we ...

... for anything. Since I had been in a work place for a while it was going to take some getting used to being back in 'holiday' mode. The singing was quite fun however the service dragged on for an hour and a half until 12pm. I read some interesting stories in the bible when the sermons were being read in Fijian. For lunch there was some salad on offer along with either overly sauced, or carby, affairs. After ...

... When we got back we went for a swim to cool down and relaxed for the rest of the day before having another nice dinner at the restaurant. Later on this evening we went into a shop attached to the hostel and the man in there asked us what we'd done today. We told him we walked to town or rather we tried to and he asked us how far we got. When we told him he said we were literally a 30 second walk around the corner and we would've been there. You win some you lose ...
