We met the couple from Capricious, John & Kim, standing in line at the Lauderdale airport at the same time. They flew from Hamilton Ontario and plan to cruise the next several months too.

the reef passage was surprisingly calm and we came back and anchored off the Snappas Bar in Marsh Harbour too late to get gas until Monday.
Marsh Harbour is probably our favourite place in the Bahamas – still not the Caribean but fun and pleasant. We went ashore and had steak and chips after 2 days of no hot food

cliffs. Beautiful coral reefs, fish of every color and sea fans were plentiful. It was convenient to be able to run the dinghy from our boat to the snorkel area just outside the channel, about 5 minutes. After snorkeling for about 30 min, Mary Beth climbed back into the dinghy to chill, and Ed went spear fishing --- see the photos. (by the way, Ed had his 60th birthday!)
