After we left Warderick Wells we took a quick 2 hour jump south to Compass Cay. Compass Cay is just outside the Exuma Land and Sea Park and is home to a number of sport fishing yachts given the spillover of large gamefish to the surrounding waters. On a wild stormy day many years ago a schooner sank off Warderick Wells. All soles perished in the disaster. Not a single body was recovered for the christain burial. Took a day to visit the Exuma Keys on a powerboat adventure. Though we were unable to visit the swimming pigs (still on my bucket list) we did feed wild iguanas, swim in crystal blue water, feed wild stingrays and sharks, and snorkel over a reef in those shark infested waters.
We sat out on a private island for the rest of the day eating seafood freshly caught and prepared. The drinks kept being poured and the sun kept shining.
The tour was amazing and worth every penny. ...

... sneaker walking. In flip-flops you would’ve tripped and hurt yourself in a second. There were large holes in the coral with about 2 inches water in them. Some of holes were big as a hotub and as deep as 8 feet. At the end of the walk we found ourselves at Butterfly Beach. We all changed in unusual places to get in our bathing suits on. Today we’re in Shroud Cay. There is a mega yacht next to our anchorage it has a helicopter on the back of the yacht! A helicopter!! A big black helicopter!!! It was fun watching it land on the back of the yacht and take off.
