A beautiful day in the Canary Islands

... get home! There are a lot of resorts and apartments here so I can imagine it's very popular later in the year. It was about 8.30 when we first went through the town and we learned there had been a big carnival here the night before, there were lots of people heading home in a bedraggled state still dressed up, the theme was cartoons so there were smurfs, snowwhite, Angelina ballerina, Mickey Mouse etc! Looked like they had fun! Otherwise the town is a sleepy quiet place on a ...

Roy our main waiter obliged by taking a ...

We usually have a cabin in the Forward part of the ship & often feel the movement of the ship quite a bit, but this trip we are Mid Ship, and so far really calm seas and very little movement has meant a good nights sleep. The really comfy bed helps too.The restaurant wasn't that busy at 8.30 and the waiter showed us to a table near the window, in a cheeky voice he said "You are special guests so I will give you a table with a sea view" well of course on ...
