Just figured out that I’ve travelled 5500 km since leaving home. ...

Got back home yesterday. I can't even begin to tell what a great adventure it has been. The Mouse performed without missing a beat and everybody got along as we should. We'd like to thank all the people who encouraged us along the way. At every stop we made the interest in what we were doing was astounding. With our three kids and a step cousin sharing a room getting them to sleep is proving a mission, at the two hour mark as I write this!! Hope the tired cranky kids don't join is tomorrow!!

Conrad and i had a bit of a giggle once we went to bed as the beds were rather short and the poor guy had his head and feet touching the bed posts!!

      Summary

Woke up to a rainy day....third in a row. Feels like winter is coming in these parts already. Very easy scenic drive along the shores of Lake Superior to get into Duluth via Twin Ports.

Some amazing houses on the outskirts of town, located on the shore front. The lake itself is endless and may as well be an ocean.

... Park. Connected with Gretchen (my friend from HS) and her husband Joe. They cooked one night and we did the next (at our campsite). All 4 of us took boat tour with ranger at Voyageur (39%) water. Had a wonderful campsite overlooking the lake.

No more timelines now, Red Toaster is just going as the wind blows ... tomorrow is upper penninsula Michigan.

      Stay tuned
