If we could do it over again we would actually skip the mainstream stuff like the ruins and get a more local intimate look at the villages and produce. We had a morning tour Sue and Darren - a lovely couple who are not about religion and are well travelled and down to earth. We had a great day with them and wish now we were doing the Holy Land with them as they have a car and driver and space for two more......... ... when we arrived at Chora we completely missed the stairs up to the monastery but had a great time wandering around this picturesque village, spotting restaurants with views for lunch and a bakery! ... had been waiting 25 minutes for the baggage man. If his bags were to be overweight at the air port he would charge it to the hotel. He was still shouting while the porter came and I left with him to retrieve our bags. After this fuss his blood pressure boiled over when he couldn't find his passport. Such entertainment - his wife soon found it for him - his behaviour really was disgraceful.
