Had a mixed day at Loveland. Lindsay and I drove to Loveland early and got on the slopes by 10:30 or so. Kirk, Chris and Vienne didn't get there until noon.

      • Weather was great

      • Lindsay really elevated her confidence with skiing
      • We skied all the blues runs
Unfortunately we didn't get to ski with Kirk, Chris and Vienne as they ended up ...

I wanted to return to the mornings of jumping out of bed ...

A travel blog entry by elicia.cobb on Jan 16, 2015

On the way back to Greeley, we stopped in Breckinridge bright and early to have some coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Ate at a cozy place on Main Street, on a comfortable couch in front of a fireplace. Perfect way to end our little Colorado getaway. ...

... in the free park and walk with our gear a short distance.
Keystone comprises 3 main peaks Dercum Mountain, North Peak and The Outback with runs coming down fom each. As the weather forcast was for a cold airmass bringing snow to arrive by early afternoon we decided to ski across to the farthest peak (the Outback) and work our way back from there. This proved to be a good decision.
The place was almost deserted with no queues anywhere and lovely long wide well groomed ...
