... Harbour where Kristen and I were later meeting one of Kristen's friend. It was good to see Breanne and learn about how she was planning on spending the next 3 months she had in NZ and Oz. Our first day in Sydney got off to a sombre start as I found out that our almost 16 year old dog Carly was being put down. We got Carly when she was a year and a half back in 1999 - about 6 months before I met Garyn. Simply put, Carly was the best. She was the sweetest, kindest dog and meant so much to our family. ... it's roof-top terrace overlooks the harbour and its iconic opera house. There are many restaurants and pubs within short walking distance. The kitchen here is commercial grade stainless steel with 8 gas fired stoves and all the pots,pans and utensils one would need.

... would be glorious. With it being such a big city there is always something to do, with some sort of sport being played most nights, from cricket, rugby, "soccer", Aussie rules and much more! Right now the Australian open is on, with Big Bash cricket most nights. If sport doesn't take your fancy then there is always something on at one of the theatres or some kind of festival in one of the parks, at the moment there is Sydney festival on too, which we will have to visit ...
