    The last day is always bittersweet. After yesterday I was ready to leave, but by the end of today I wished I had more time.

    Grandpa being the chatty guy he is, made friends with the man climbing up trees and grabbing coconuts.     From Samana, DR we picked an amazing day to get ourselves across the Mona Passage, which is known to be difficult if the conditions are less than perfect.

    Did I mention that we saw many whales from Samana to Puerto Rico? Pretty cool beans.

    ... the padlocked gate with the US military warning "keep out ex US army range, do not touch unexploded bombs". We sneak in and after a 30 minute hike appear on the Rosario beach.
