... flu to women!!).
Also the red flags and 6 or 7 foot waves might have been a problem.
The night life here seemed non-existant and the restaurants are all set up for family package holidays (expensive and westernised).
Not our favourite place.
... ago and I still feel pretty confident as I sit here typing this. My last 'lapse' - albeit a minor one - happened six weeks ago on the night of Mom's birthday (sorry Mom) so I guess things may be, just maybe, looking up. Here in Nai Harn we've just got over the 'Songkran Festival' (Thai New Year) where we got blasted with water cannons the whole day and got positively muntered in the process ...
Rawai, Thailand scottwoz... bus we paid for to promptly - ha! - arrive at 8 am (it was 6 am when we got dumped off the sleeper bus) or (B) Upgrade, for some extra coinage of course, to a minibus. The thought of the minibus turned my stomach, so we tarried. Okay, the third bus - the most irritating one of the entire transit, which didn't help because our patience was already in shambles and becoming ever-more dilapidated with each passing second. By the time the bus's ...
Phuket, Thailand kasey_kid... alternative medicine which has been the only thing that has had any kind of positive affect on me. Funny actually, how this medicine - the thing that has actually worked - has also been completely FREE. I may sound negative P, but believe me I'm not. The sentiment behind my words is simply a strong one, one from self-sovereignty and an undeniable will of survival - the very opposite of suicidal. I'm actually fighting the ...
Rawai, Thailand scottwoz... of the points Eldridge was trying to make... oh well. It inspired me to long for a nice huge camping trip in Colorado this summer. He lives in Colorado Springs, I applied to a school in Colorado Springs - we'll see how things turn out. At the coffee shop I met a young guy from the Chicago area, who's been living in Phuket for 4 years, making enough money as an english teacher to get by, as well as spending his free time diving (in one of the best locations of the world) as well as ...

Rawai, Thailand ly.hoOne month training-camp review: 1. Rooms The shared room that I stay in is shared with 2 other guys. The TV is in a bad side and there's no remote control. The fridge and kitchen is adequate in terms of space and usuability. Bathroom is again fine, no qualms about that except one of the roommate takes forever to shower, instead of doing the manly-2min-showers. There's a maid who comes around 2 or 3 times a week that cleans our room and replaces the bed-sheets/blankets and towels ...
Rawai, Thailand ly.ho... just makes me more sad...as in loser not unhappy, well actually both...I'll shut up now) The boat ended up coming late and we just waited around as more and more people gathered to go to Phi Phi. This bay was also very low tide and marshy. There were a few trees a few meters in where the water ended up coming up to, very healthy looking it was quite cool. Finally the ferry arrived but as it was still lowish water we got a long tail out to the ferry and jumped from one to ...
Koh Phi Phi, Thailand shanemilli... I packed while watching the film "Sunshine." Creepy movie. Hope I figure it out someday. Warning Bill Robinson! Spoilers daily. Everybody dies. Get over it. I went to settle the bill and do the math on the mission impossible prospect of a remainder stay in a shared bungalow. At the same place. She showed me the room. Not bad. But... I'd called a previous place I'd seen before where I'd met British Roger the Drummer and Roger the Rock Singer ...
Phuket, Thailand taishan... in their watery beds for whatever remained of the evening. It was near dawn when I began to come down to a manageable level of toxicity, sitting off alone by myself with my feet lowered in the rolling water (oblivion), reviewing the distressful turns that my life had recently been subjected to. It was in this momentary despair that I contemplated entering oblivion myself. After all, the darkness can't hold many problems, or so I thought ...
