Falling for a scam in the beautiful Hoi An!

Unlike the 'Strawberry Daiquiri Incident' in Vientiane, there was no fuss - the bloke knew his drinks were terrible and just let us leave, 'no problem'.... (We are getting quite good at refusing to pay now - not very 'British' I know!) We also spent a day on the beach, which was great fun. Hoi An and some illegal mororbiking
... Cargo followed by wandering around and then myself and Fiona walked to the other beach Ba Nang. 2 km stated on the map took us 45minutes so it was probably a bit further. Noone was walking but us and they probably thought we were nuts but it was nice and relaxing watching the farmers work, dead snakes on the road and getting our own local 'tour guide' on a bike. Other than walking around the Imperial City, we spent our short time in Hue sampling the local specialities, shrimps and pork in steamed flour parcels, and having beers with a chatty cyclo driver, Mr. Long. He was swearing a lot (he blamed the influence of Australian tourists), but ensured us that drinking after a hard day's work makes you "happy, happy". There you go.
