Scuba diving at Sail Rock
... busy with dive traffic, but the visibility was great and we managed to dive down to 12 or 13 metres. Back to the boat for a rest and some lunch. For our second dive we were the only boat at the rock, but unfortunately, the wind had picked up so the swell was much bigger and the water currents were much stronger. FULL MOON PARTY!
We made it over to our hotel, which was located on the other side of our port, Haad Rin. On first impressions, Shiralea was a bit of a let down. Maybe it was due to the luxurious side of our previous resort, but we struggled to see why the place had such high ratings on Tripadvisor. It was a bit out of the way from most things, so we were limited to dining in the hotel which was more western orientated. However, this did give us the opportunity to relish ...
