A travel blog entry by travelingtj on Sep 29, 2014

... haha). Anyway, the week is starting to wind down and we are finishing up with the last of our cultural excursions and activities. Today my group had a lesson in  Muay Thai! It was no joke. I am not exaggerating when I say that I was LITERALLY dripping half way through. Best work out that I've ever had, hands down. And the most fun as well. ... Even the sleepy Fishing town just a bit south of Hua Hin called Kao Takiap is no more.
Modern 5 star hotel bunkers, restaurants, bars and more condos destroyed this area as well.

Local people find it to expensive for them and since the shopping malls have been built the feeling is definitely like Bangkok.

Instead there was a concrete street and wall between the beach and the street next to the bungalows. We suggest that all the people there live from fishing either way shrimps or squid or other fish. There were tons of shrimp farms around us.

The weather stayed rainy and nasty, so we decided not to look for another place ...

... face is covered in plants, trees and bushes. You could not scale it, the foliage is too dense. So we're standing around for about 10 minutes whistling and calling the monkeys!?! Then from the side of the island, 8 monkeys make their way towards us across the beach and rocks, just strolling along. They are not shy, smallish in size and take the bananas right out of our hands. Very friendly little things but the troop is about 40 strong apparently. I'm ...
