... get an oil change, wash the filthy car, gas up, get groceries and swim in the pool.  I have one more shopping trip planned at "The River", a trip to a 2nd casino here called Fantasy Springs and a steak dinner tonight and Mexican again tomorrow.  The Mexican food is so good out here, that it is hard to resist going to recommended restaurants.  So far we have not been disappointed by the Mexican food. ... of abdominal pain cases have un-diagnosed causes so he sent us on our way with a prescription for pain killers and an instruction that if the pain continued Bob should return to the hospital. Since we didn't have our car, Rick and Darlene were good enough to come back to the hospital to get us. We stopped at Walgreens to fill the prescription and Bob bought a bunch of chocolate bars. ... but everyone stuck it out in the name of good music. The highlights of the final day were 'James Blake', 'Vampire weekend' and 'Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds'. 'Nick Cave' was especially good with his intense stage presence and dark lyrics really grabbing the crowds attention. It got quite cold at night and the dust and wind was unbelievable. We've been keeping an eye on our flights back home to Sydney from Los Angeles and, surprise surprise, the availability of seats is looking dubious already. We have decided to cancel our extra day here in the USA, when we had planned to visit Santa Barbara, and fly to Japan instead. It's definitely the long way around, but it least it will be much less stressful.
