... everybody's car, although it seemed very thorough and it took like 3 hours,it was rather ineffective as the number of people with 1 illegal substance on them or another was a large proportion of the campers. While in the queue, this is where the heat hit me, it was over 100F which is high 30's Celsius; this heat was rather debilitating and the need for lots of water was high. After various more queuing and checks, we finally got in, even with several contraband items in the car; ...

... who won? Not me obviously, so I picked a figure, paid for the fuel, finally got use of the pump, and was my car full? No! Wrotten things, must remember to memorise a zip code for future purchases. So grumpy, headachy and hot (you know I said a kingdom for a pair of gloves the other day, well I'd trade them for swimmers now - lucky I got swimmers in Vegas - it's 90 degrees here, that's about 32 degrees celsius) I arrived ...

... fitted in just fine. It was hot (43 degrees), but the palm tree inspired golf course surrounds with the desert mountains as a back drop, really was relaxing and spectacular. Our villa had a courtyard that was on the 150 yard marker of the 9th fairway, a solid 7 iron would have to carry the water to reach the green in two. The closest pool was adjacent to the 9th green and when we visited the pool at about 5.30pm, it was all ...
