      ... Then just some chess, cocktail to celebrate another glorious sunset and laziness. Feels good :) Ko Lanta turned out to be all we were hoping for.       ... for a chill. They do some great pizza on the island for 80p a slice, which fills a hole at lunch time. We headed back out at 7.30pm to meet Nicky and Graham for dinner. Only Nicky showed up as Graham was sick. This was a shame as we didn't get to say goodbye. Nicky left after dinner. Me and Noel stayed out to sample the notorious Phi Phi night life.       ... and it remained pretty overcast and rainy. Nevertheless, I got myself a great deal on a hotel room, felt like luxury. TV playing pirates of the Caribbean, and 2 swimming pools overlooking the sea. For 5 pounds :P
      On the second day there I rented a bike and roamed around the island. Got caught in some heavy down pours but it was quite nice just pedaling away. Ended up doing about 30k. And did some more shopping along the way. ...

      ... s in a small area just 2 minutes or less from the beach- perfect! The family that runs the resort were so friendly and helpful too with the lady who owns it cooking a big breakfast every morning and delivering it straight to our room, they also booked us our scooter which we explored the island with on Monday. Now some family members may be concerned that we hired a scooter in a country that isn't really renowned for its road safety but if there's anywhere that's 'safest' to ...
