        ... distance.
Hung out with some friends from Thailand & France, socializing & enjoying a good meal over the great view. Tuesday morning started with my early departure from Phuket over to the ferry terminal, making it just in time. It turns out they only had 7 passengers for this ferry transfer, so no big boat this time, but rather a speedboat. Having twin-250s was great, except for the rough seas and the smaller boat, ...

... so it had double the facilities!
We had another very chilled out day, reading, swimming, playing volleyball and 'headers' in the pool then went to the restaurant for lunch before taking a walk to explore the place. Then we headed back and toasted to Johns 40th!
There was very little in the resort so we watched some TV and did some research into out next stop! Later on we headed back to the restaurant and had dinner completing our Koh Lanta adventure.

Where to start, lots has happened in the last week or so…..

First, we’re semi connected in terms of internet, but for a while we were madly trying to find another laptop and a way of keeping in touch as well as booking our onwards travels etc. Funnily enough Amazon cancelled the new laptop order I begrudgingly ...

... I got straight in as it was likely my last time snorkelling in Thailand. I believe the area we snorkelled in was Loh Sama Bay but I'm not too sure in the end as the itinerary got a bit mixed up between what we were meant to do and what we ended up doing. The snorkelling was actually really good with many colourful fish and corals to look at. I was also thrown watermelon to give to the rainbow fish and had a video taken of me with them all around me, there was so many of them ...

... I feel like a new man. Plan today is to go and rent scooters so we can get around the island and see what is what! Vikki has never ridden one before but she seems pretty keen to learn, so I spend a bit of time passing on all of my knowledge. This takes all of about 2 minutes, so we head out on the road when Lee and Tash join us. The threat of a heavy rain storm puts a halt on our roadtrip, so we head back to chill out. The beach which we are ...
