Our trip from Tampa to Portland Oregon….Day 2
Today is actually our second day of travel. Monday we left home in Odessa Florida and
headed to Green Cove Springs which is just southwest of Jacksonville,
Florida. This is where my sister Joyce
lives. Bill’s sister Carole also leaves
nearby in Orange Park. We spent the
obligatory 3 days with the family before deserting them for the cooler weather
Yesterday the power steering went out in the car we tow behind the motorhome. We were not able to get it repaired in Cortez so we were forced to come home early and take it to the dealer in Homosassa. We've had a couple of wins. Ken has just put up the wind generator and it appears to be fixed. Also ... no, really only one win. The battery man came and agreed that the battery couldn't have been immersed. We're waiting to hear the outcome - probably a new battery at half price.
