    ... I took a photo of this procedure. It was drizzling a little when we got home, which was mostly because our house is up in the clouds. I took a photo of Lake Tahoe as we drove around the lake to get home and one can see that there are clouds above the lake on the houses that are up high, like ours. In my photo, one can see Sand Harbor up close and Incline Village in the distance.

    ... crab feast couldn't have been better for a last night with good friends. Unfortunately Pete drove too long one day coming home and ended up with a horrible back problem. The horse to the barn syndrome proved to be a bad idea. We've decided in order to keep this from becoming a real issue on every trip, I am going to have to do some driving.     ... went. The rest of the journey was scenic, with the Sierra Nevada always being on our left as we crossed into Nevada. We then turned left and hit the lake, opening up beautifully for us as we arrived around 5.30. The Hyatt Regency is truly lovely, in a stunning setting with the pines and mountains of a ski resort behind it and its own private beach on the Lake. You can tell by the houses on the waterfront that life is good here but no doubt at a price. ...
