... rivers and the most unusual rock formation any of us had ever seen!

This rock formation (its name we cannot find), was so peculiar that we were certain it had to be man-made. I mean, just look at it, extraordinary! But it was 100% earth’s creation and it left us shaking our heads in amazement as we continued our scenic drive.

Before we knew it, Lake Tahoe (America's largest ...

The horse to the barn syndrome proved to be a bad idea. We've decided in order to keep this from becoming a real issue on every trip, I am going to have to do some driving. We'll give that a try when we leave in two weeks for a Monaco Rally in Calistoga. Lovin' the RV ...

... went. The rest of the journey was scenic, with the Sierra Nevada always being on our left as we crossed into Nevada. We then turned left and hit the lake, opening up beautifully for us as we arrived around 5.30. The Hyatt Regency is truly lovely, in a stunning setting with the pines and mountains of a ski resort behind it and its own private beach on the Lake. You can tell by the houses on the waterfront that life is good here but no doubt at a price. ...
