Goodbye to our Blackforest accommodation, the Silberdistel. We drove from Hinterzarten to Hirschsprung to Freiburg. We parked in the suburbs of Freiburg and took the tram into the Alt Stadt. We used our tourist card from the Hotel for free transport. We got off at the Oberlinden Fountain. We walked around the old town and the beautiful buildings and ...

Our first stop was *****e where we had a coffee and then Chris went up to wander around the citadel. I took one look at the steep drive of cobbles and begged off.

We then got totally lost trying to get out of *****e and ...

... 8217;. As you can imagine, I was shocked. The sausage in the Sausage and Egg McMuffin was somewhat dubious? Never. I don’t believe it. That would never happen back home. I should write to McDonalds and inform them of this travesty....

Oh, and one more negative experience. Said travelling companion, who was suffering mental instability from the sausage and egg muffin and how somehow managed to convince me to jump off our gondola and try and get "the next one". ...
