... feel very welcome by the locals who greeted us with "Jambo" wherever we walked. Tourists were few and far between and by the end of our week there we were starting to feel like we had made a few friends with the locals. There wasn't any of the hard sell that we encountered so much of in Egypt and in other parts of Kenya. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
