Today we flew into Bali , from Melbourne.
We had a tail wind and got here in record time. (5hours)
We met our shuttle bus driver at the front who took us from the airport to the motel cottages in Mas, we are going to be staying at the Taman Harum Cottages.
We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant tonight here at out cottages, and then we went for a swim in the pool.
The air was filled with firecracker noise all night , and the noise was amazing along with the light ...

... s in Verona by facetime as they were all together at Roberto's. We than went for a walk before going back. 25th Last night we decided to stay in bed longer and not go for breakfast in our hotel but go and check out the breakfast at Ocha's around 10;30. Good choice! It was perfect and on top of that if we would have gone to the beach before we would have been rained away as a sudden thunder cloud reached us while we were eating. After about an hour it stopped as usual ...

Last night we got in touch with Liam who is a friend from Scarborough now living in Melbourne who was in Bali to celebrate his 30th birthday – they've booked a villa for the week so we’ll go and see them for a bit whilst we have the chance. Liam had already booked a white water rafting tour for today so we decided we’d tag along with them - only a day into Bali and we’re already doing stuff ...

Finally I get from the Australian Immigration the grant notification that they allow me a visa. And on Friday, we can even pick up the visa for Timor. Uff, I'm relieved. Now we have still some time and we make a trip to Ubud and to a beautiful beach. In Ubud I was disappointed, because too many tourists and traffic are on the streets. I also do not know why so ...
