... the Whitsundays ( especially the Reef) and I do think that iwhen we want another sailing holiday we will stick with Queensland. . Plitvice Lakes. This park is renowned for its natural beauty and did not disappoint. We decided to trade our planned day to the city of Trogir ( not another walled city) for the three hour drive from Split to Plitvice. But with 1 million visitors each year, and paved pathways everywhere, it is not a place ...

    ... by the same name.

I asked at the campsite and the guy gave me the story. Four students from Split were in Prague back in 1910. They were there to watch a football game between Sparta and Slavia. ... There had been an immense amount of speculation about what our captain would be like, how big our boat would be, and the amenities it would have to offer. I am not sure how we signed up for such a large journey not knowing such things. We'd see a huge boat go by and the girls would ask "Do you think our boat will be that big?" or "new?" I'd try to keep their expectations low as you never know what you are going to get with these adventure companies. I was pumped when ...

Upgrades, road signs and a great evening

... and in North America I wouldn't mind but here it means we are one of the bigger cars on the road, and gas and insurance will be a bit more. Jill and I both agree that if they call it an upgrade we should be driving a convertible... no such luck. We (I should say Jill as she is the one driving, although I am on the rental so that may change) quite easily made it out of Split and onto the A1 which is the highway that took us almost all the way to Sibenik which ...
