    ... absolutely beautiful so we supported the local economy and Loretta picked one up for herself. Something she would love to pass on later in life.

    That wrapped up our 1hr tour, which actually lasted 2.5 hours. Mirjana loved to talk about the palace and is truly a proud Croatian. This was a true highlight of the trip for all three of us. If you can believe it, JR even stayed "tuned in" with her for the whole time.

    ... t the only thing posted in excess though- so are the speed limits. It is probably a good thing as the speed seems to change about every ten km at most. Truly it will go from 130 to 110 and back again with absolutely no apparent reason. Our theory is that they had extra signs and just didn't know what to do with them...     ... On the way back to the apartment we did some food shopping at the supermarket and bought the essentials - corn flakes, milk and beer.

    I then went up to Josip's apartment to pay the man and once again was offered a beer though politely decline this time as I thought if I had one I could be up there for quite a while.

    Tomorrow we have a long day planned with a day trip out to the island of Hvar.
